"CPR for Birthday Ball"

Rental & Staging Cover 07-2007    For the fourth consecutive year, CPR MultiMedia Solutions delivered cutting edge video and production services to the U.S. Army for its 231st Birthday Ball at the Washington Hilton in D.C. An elegant evening of dining, dancing and entertainment, the Ball celebrated the historical traditions and services of the U.S. Army and promoted the vision and accomplishments of today's Army to members of Congress, high-level dignitaries and the Washington Press Corps.
Army event producers deployed CPR's Barco Encore Presentation System to craft a visually stunning show that combined live camera feeds with computer graphics, video clips and special effects. A 30 foot wide screen served as a virtual set and multi-window image magnification screen. Encore also sent imagery to two flanking 10' x 14' screens and two 9' x 12' outer screens to enhance veiwing from every seat in the ballroom.
Days prior to the Ball, a team of Army and CPR video pros worked together in CPR's Encore Studio Suite to produce, assemble and preview the entire show in advance of the prestigious live event. Just before show time, CPR engineers utilized the flexiblility of Encore to ensure all last-second changes meshed into the perfectly choreographed show...
