.jpg) The first stop of the Rental & Staging/InfoComm Roadshow was a resounding success, with more than 150 professionals in attendance. Held at Altman Rentals in Yonkers, NY, on July 25, the Roadshow provided technical and business tracks addressing key issues for industry rental and professionals, with a focus on the corporate event market.
InfoComm's Rental & Staging Committee Chairman Tom Stimson, CTS, taught classes for the business track, delving into issues such as how to make a staging company more profitable. InfoComm provided the technology track for the Roadshow, which featured in-depth seminars from André LeJeune, CTS, and Stas Ushomirsky. LeJeune of MVP Audio Visual offered advice on pre-show planning and support/signal distribution for presentation systems, while Ushomirsky of Sky Creative explained the role of the "Screen Designer" in today's staging world...
